Catholic Parish Outreach is a Diocesan non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance in the form of food, maternity clothing, children's clothing (up to size 6) and baby items (from diapers and wipes to strollers and cribs) to clients regardless of age, sex, race, creed, or ethnic background. CPO provides one week’s worth of food assistance to families and individuals in need, every 30 days!

CPO recycles THOUSANDS of grocery bags each week and always has a need for your paper and plastic grocery bags as well as empty
(1 doz.) egg cartons. These items can be placed in the CPO box in the ministry closet, next to the women's restroom.

DESPERATELY NEEDS YOUR
Catholic Parish Outreach (CPO) is the largest food pantry in Wake County, NC. It is a program of Catholic Charities, which is a 501c3 non-profit organization. They serve any resident of Wake, Johnston, or Franklin County. Clients are referred to CPO by human service agencies, churches, medical providers, and school counselors who see firsthand those who struggle in our community. Clients can receive groceries for their family at most once every 30 days. Clothing (children’s up to age 4 & maternity) and baby items are available; availability varies with donations on hand.
A committed group of members from St. Luke’s volunteer at CPO on Tuesday’s. There are a variety of jobs they participate in while volunteering such as packing bags of food, packing and unpacking trucks, handing out bags of food to clients, and help with distribution of children's clothing. St. Luke’s conducts food drives at the parish to help CPO re-stock their shelves. If you have questions or would like to join other volunteers please contact Ken Low or Dennis Jacobs below.
