When Jesus walked this earth, He went about teaching, proclaiming the gospel, and curing every disease and illness 
(Matt 4:23 and 9:35). He also trained His disciples in the ministry of healing and sent them forth to heal others in His name (Matt 10: 1, 8). Our Lord desires His people to be whole in body, mind and spirit. Healing is at the very heart of who God is.
